A small team managing several maritime organisations simultaneously, responsible for client services, events, stakeholder engagement and communications across distinct areas of the sector.
The problem
The same seven operational themes appeared across every organisation in the portfolio: unstructured inbound communication, manual client capture, no automated onboarding, payment flows needing follow-up, hand-built stakeholder reporting, reactive content calendars and CRM data without consistent structure. Not one organisation's problem, but the same structural challenge appearing wherever this operating model existed.
What we built
An AI audit delivered to leadership as a structured presentation, documenting the seven recurring themes across the full portfolio. Solutions mapped across two streams, workflow automation and AI-powered support, against ten strategic goals covering client growth, governance, operational efficiency and stakeholder engagement. A phased adoption roadmap across Foundations, Automation and AI Enablement.
The outcome
The team implemented the foundational recommendations themselves: online payments established, CRM integrated with payments and client onboarding, structural operational changes made. A sequenced plan, foundations built, and a next phase ready to begin.
